River of Life Wall Hanging (Made to Order)

This wall hanging features a river flowing from the mountains. Perfect to decorate those small spaces that larger pieces can't fit!
Each piece is first rolled out of a slab of clay. Next, I sketch and carve all the tiny details. It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6. Each piece I make is an original, no two are exactly the same!
