Caffeinated Coon Mug- 20 fl. oz.

Start your day with a touch of woodland charm! This handmade mug is carefully hand-carved with original artwork featuring a cozy raccoon enjoying coffee by a campfire in the mountains. Bring a little adventure and handmade magic to every sip!

Each Mug is first thrown on a potter's wheel, then when the mug is dry enough a handle is attached. I then sketch my design before I carve into the clay. It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I fill in the carvings with a black glaze to highlight the detail. I then use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6. Each piece I make is an original, no two are exactly the same!
