Goat Rock Climbing Grippy Tumbler - 14 fl. oz.

This handmade ceramic tumbler features an original illustration of a mountain goat expertly climbing rugged rocks, capturing the spirit of nature’s fearless climbers. Each tumbler is carefully crafted by hand, making every piece unique. Perfect for coffee, tea, or hot cocoa, this tumbler is as functional as it is artful.

Each tumbler is first thrown on a potter's wheel then I use my thumbs to squish the clay to create grip points. Next, I sketch my design before I carve into the clay. It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I fill in the carvings with a black glaze to highlight the detail. I then use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6. Each piece I make is an original,no two are exactly the same!
