Hiking Ghostie - Clay art tile

This one-of-a-kind clay art tile is sketched and carved entirely by hand, featuring original artwork inspired by spooky adventures in the mountains. Each detail is carefully carved into the surface, giving the piece depth and texture that feels alive and timeless.

Each piece is first rolled out of a slab of clay. Next, I sketch and carve all the tiny details.  It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6. Each piece I make is an original, no two are exactly the same!
