Wildflower Grippy Tumbler - 14 fl. oz.

Bring the beauty of the mountains to your everyday rituals with this handmade ceramic tumbler. Carefully carved by hand, the surface features delicate wildflowers blooming against a rugged mountain backdrop. Perfect for coffee, tea, or any drink you love, this tumbler is a little piece of nature you can hold in your hands

Each tumbler is first thrown on a potter's wheel then I use my thumbs to squish the clay to create grip points. Next, I sketch my design before I carve into the clay. It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I fill in the carvings with a black glaze to highlight the detail. I then use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6. Each piece I make is an original, no two are exactly the same!
