Woodland Fox Sculpted Mug- 19 fl. oz

This mug features a unique alcove pressed into the clay, home to a sculpted fox nestled in a forest scene. Each piece is hand-carved and sculpted with original artwork, making every mug truly unique. Perfect for nature lovers, animal enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys sipping their favorite beverage with a touch of woodland charm.

Each Mug is first thrown on a potter's wheel, then when the mug is dry enough a handle is attached. I then sketch my design before I carve into the clay. It is then placed into its first firing after it is completely dry. Once out of the bisque firing, I fill in the carvings with a black glaze to highlight the detail. I then use needle bottles to "paint" the scene with glazes. For the last step, it is placed back into the kiln for the final glaze firing to cone 6.
